Our Story
MedX International Ltd was founded in 2019 as a homegrown technology company in Uganda with a clear mission: to transform laboratory and health data management systems across Africa. What started as a focused effort to improve tuberculosis surveillance has evolved into a comprehensive digital health platform serving thousands of healthcare workers across multiple countries.
Our journey began with LabXpert Surveillance, deployed in partnership with Uganda's National Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory. When COVID-19 emerged in 2020, we rapidly adapted our platform to meet the urgent demands of pandemic testing, transforming commercial laboratories across Uganda and neighboring countries.
Today, MedX continues to lead digitization efforts across East and Central Africa, focusing on building resilient and scalable solutions that empower healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes.
